A sweet and sour classic Chinese dish you can make by frying up some left-over vegetables.
Really looks like genuine sweet and sour pork satisfies even meat-lovers!

Veggie meat sweet and sour pork
Ingredients
1 bag block type veggie meat, 1 large carrot, 10cm Japanese daikon radish, 2 onions, 6 green peppers (whatever vegetables you like will do), grape seed oil
A: 1 sachet Vegeta soup powder (with the powder removed from the sachet), 2 tablespoons unbleached white wheat flour, a little pepper
B: 1.5 cups soup (place 1 sachet Vegeta soup powder in 500cc water and boil for 10 minutes), 250cc orange juice, 7 tablespoons soy sauce, 6 tablespoons apple vinegar, 8 tablespoons ketchup, 2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon katakuriko mixed with the same amount of water

1) Soften the veggie meat in warm water, squeeze out the water, cut into bite-sized pieces and coat with A.
2) Cut the onion into wedges, cut the remaining vegetables coarsely.
3) Fry till crisp in the order: carrot, daikon, onions, green peppers, veggie meat,.
4) Pour all the ingredients in B into a saucepan and simmer. Add the veggie meat from 3) and simmer for 3 minutes, then put in the rest of the vegetables and mix. Add the mixed katakuriko and water and when the mixture thickens, it's ready!

I tried making the sweet and sour pork.
I was a bit surprised about the daikon, but it had a good strong texture so now I know it's delicious in sweet and sour pork (^_^)
AND, it really is just like sweet and sour pork made with meat, isn't it (^o^)
