Why are vegetarians increasing? (For the love of animals)

Animals that become meat for humans are not allowed to live out their natural life as living beings, and are raised unnaturally.

For example, eggs and chicken meat...
The beaks and claws of chicks are clipped so that they do not later injure each other due to the stress of overcrowding. They are subject to injections for a variety of diseases.
They are packed together in a dark shed...

The shed is arranged so that the chickens do not see the sun and so do not crow "cock-a-doodle-do" as they normally would. This is to keep the noise down.

During this time they are fed lots of high-calorie, high-protein concentrated feed.
The feed is automatically supplied and contains added nutrients, digesters, antibacterial agents and so on.
Once the chickens become able to produce eggs, they are moved to the egg producing shed, where they stay for about a year, producing eggs every day.

When they become less efficient...

They become soup stock or pet food.

A chicken's life would usually last 15 to 20 years! In spite of this, they are allowed to live for only about 18 months.

Note: Not all eggs and chicken meat are produced in this way.

And pork...
Young sows are taken to mate with the boar about 7 to 8 months after they are born.

When they become pregnant...

They are put in a special shed for pregnant sows, where they spend the 16 weeks before birth.

Several weeks before they are due, they are moved to a birth pen.
This is a cold concrete pen divided by iron pipes which is just about big enough for the sow to stand in. Once the piglets are born, the sow is forced to lie sideways to feed the piglets at all times except for meals.

The mother pig is not allowed to do anything except eat and feed her piglets.

Pigs may not look it, but they are quite delicate and can easily become sick from stress, so they are given large amounts of drugs. The sow is allowed to be with the piglets for only 1 to 2 weeks, or at best one month before the piglets are removed. The mother is then fed large amounts of nutrients and is allowed to rest for about one month. Once she has recovered, she will go to mate with the boar again. This is repeated about six times in the space of two or three years.

So she is just a BIRTH MACHINE!!

Pig dysentery, toxoplasma, epidemic pneumonia, and atrophic rhinitis are said to be the big four pig diseases, and it is said that almost every pig has at least one of them.

This is the reality of the ham and eggs, or the bacon and sausage morning set breakfast!

Note: Not all pork is produced in this way.

And beef...

Cattle sheds are dark and sunlight is not allowed in.

Male calves are taken from the cows as soon as they are born.

They are shut into cages and prevented from moving by use of a neck clamp.

The contents of the feed box is a high calorie diet consisting of a mixture of powdered skimmed milk, powdered whey, starch, sugar, antifungal agent, vitamins, and antibiotics!
Straw is not put down because the iron in the straw would blacken the meat. I'm an anaemic calf because I don't get enough iron!!

Humans probably want me to put on more meat, but I'm anaemic and just about alive when they ship me off.

Cattle usually live for 25 years, but are sold off after just 15 weeks of fattening… That’s the high-class white veal for you!

The well known Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz and the former Beatles member Paul McCartney became vegetarians for reasons concerning animal protection.

If meat centres were built with glass walls I think people would stop eating meat.
When you know that you are not one of the causes of suffering in animals then you become more peaceful in your heart towards yourself and towards animals.

Paul McCartney
